I hope people don't buy mak because of the FMG story. I bought on balance because i see it as a company in the right place at the right time, on the cusp of an agriculture boom, with a promising resource and potentially strong economics. However I worry because i constantly read comments comparing this with FMG? (Also Paladin and Posseidon) FMG had the chinese bankrolling their operation from very early in the picture and so (for this and many other reasons) it is really a different story all together. This may create false hope and thus irrational investment decisions IMO.
