The matrix from which the REs are extracted is a carbonate(?) which can be used as a fertilizer. This "Condisol" has been developed and partially approved for agricultural use but scare tactics from the anti Lynas brigade about radiation levels has meant final approvals have not been granted and it has not been rolled out commercially. I expect that it will, eventually, be released commercially but it will be a pleasant add-on to the bottom line and beneficial for the operation, not a cause to change ones investment.
