I've used ZipT app since beta versions, key advantages are less data usage and low bandwidth. It was very impressive on GUI, but it has been improving a lot, especially well integration with phone contacts and simple to use.
I agree ZipT app still has lots of polish and improvements to be done, as I stated before. I prefer the company spending more money on fast development of the app.
2G target won't be problem as ZipT app has been downloading globally. Working in 2G environment is only giving advantage of covering more areas rather than focusing on low covering areas.
My only concern is if the company can fast development of the app to the similar level as leading app. In this case, time is more valuable than money to spend.
My valuation based on current development, is around $2, so I am still optimistic.
