SP, I cannot see the relevance of this regurgitation of the price of everything in 1980 to this thread. This has been covered extensively in dozens of threads, many started by you.

The precis of this thread is in the last paragraph and repeated here: "Stay the course. We are a few days from a stratospheric takeoff in the price of gold."

Jim Rogers has gone out on a limb, more a twig in this case, to predict a huge upswing in gold in the next few days.
It is a bold statement and as I said before, if it is wrong then its questions his credibility as a precious metal commentator. Good luck to all who follow his advice and adjust their portfolios accordingly.
