I know of two worthy recipients "waiting" for assisted housing and I can assure you if refugees get preferential treatment it will be most unfair. Many elderly parents are housing mentally unwell offspring which causes immense hardship for aging low income parents.
I don't know how Gillard can look us in the eye without feeling shame.
Not to mention the powder keg of all male detention. I would be locking my daughters up if I was anywhere near a center like Northam because it is unnatural to put all those men together. It requires maximum security to keep the community safe and we all know there wont be that.
