    Don't dispute your figures. The fact of the article was less than 12,000 votes got labour over the line in marginal seats, not from a loss of safe liberal seats.

    Labour is aware that the victory, whilst compelling, does not ensure them of victory next time round.

    "It is no wonder that Labor hard-heads, while savouring victory after a gruelling campaign, know the party must consolidate its position at the next election to reduce the risk of Mr Rudd leading a one-term government"

    If labour stuffs up they could be out in three years.
