loved the article and the Melbourne Cup winning names - hope there is some hidden message in all these names - it is a long race over 3.6 km and ONLY a stayer of class can hope to win it...
sounds like the qualities of JJ (and in turn AAR with us all AAR tragics combined)... in Melbourne Cup parlance, let us hope we are more nearer to the final straight at this stage where the jockeys and horses all go for the big run leaving nothing in the tank...
