Future Fund was granted custodianship of our Telstra shares in February of 2007. The average price per share for that month was $4.26.
Future Fund has, since its inception in 2006, lost a lot of Australian citizens' money. Well short of the profit target, set in legislation, of 4.5% above the CPi per annum.
We only need to read the quarterly reports to see this

Granted, though, there was a stock market crash during this time, profit result over the last half year have improved.
Future Fund will cost this nation dearly.
I just pity the future treasurer in 2020 that will have to announce to the Australian people that Future Fund has lost all their money, some B$65.
