Is this a lame duck board or what ?

Are they going to be pressured into a succession of decisions that make it green and wholesome but progressively reduce it to an organisation that barely turns a profit ?

Why don’t we put to the vote that BHP re-registers as a charity ? (Trouble is the FW superfunds would probably all vote yes)

Such a feel good organisation - let’s all feel warm and fuzzy all the way to oblivion.

These woke do-gooder directors on the big superannuation boards might be in for a rude awakening before long.If they go around pressuring company boards to go down less profitable paths and start impacting fund returns significantly they might need to be legally reminded of their fiduciary duties.

No skin in the game - that’s the problem.

And maybe after a couple of years of seeing their superfund returns nose dive your average super member might begin to understand the dangers of electing these woke wrecking balls onto their boards.
