Unless there's a partner locked in before the company split, surely the lithium entity would want more in the pocket than that. If this process takes longer than anticipated or whoever we are dealing with gets greedy and drags it out to pressure us, then we don't want to be on the ropes and forced into a sub-optimal arrangement right? - Also, what's the harm in co-funding the plant construction for a bigger cut?
I know that management would have thought of all of this (and a lot more no doubt) but given this is my first experience with a spin-off, I can't stop my brain from trying to work through the logic of all of this. We will know the ins and outs soon enough as you said.
