I think that the Doc has an interested party for a sale of all assets and has formally commenced demerger of the two assets in order to pressure the interested party in to making a move. Take note of his statement during the webinar:

"I want to give the data room process a little bit of time. Because it’s possible that we may get something commercial emerged, that I might want to, um, you would very much like to get completed before a demerger".
