I was just reading this thread thinking I'd post something along the same lines, then read your post.

I agree, the Doc first of all said he hoped to announce "in the next few days" (meaning Thurs/Fri) then later said "hopefully in the next week". So the "hopefully" gives some wiggle room, but is now overdue. If it doesn't come out this week, I definitely think some event in the data room has delayed it.

It is going to cost money to engage an investment bank, an offtake wouldn't upset the process, however an entity wanting to partner us would change the shape of any spin-out. Maybe better to sort that out first then go to the investment bank with a proposed framework. If that's the case, I'd expect some sort of MOU in the interim. This would greatly reduce what work the investment bank needs to do, if needed at all.

All we can do is speculate, having said that the Doc is pretty good at keeping timetables, so something has interrupted that.
