Well done with your trading, that's a fantastic effort!

I find the problem with short term forex trading is that there is to much risk, not the strategy itself.

In re: Risk, I also take into consideration the following:
- Slippage;
- Trade execution;
- Incorrect entry and exit
- Fundamentals/News pressures to enter or exit a trade;
- Missing important indicators for your strategy;
- Market volatility; and the biggest of them all
- Emotional decisions/trades!

When trading longer term you are less impacted by:
- Slippage;
- Trade execution;
- Quick responses to indicators;
- Fundamental/News pressures;
- Market volatility;
- and inclined to trade on an emotional decision.

As you can tell, it's not only the strategy that makes a trader successful over time.
