You are describing possibly why the JV failed - note I said JV instead of WaaS. We were handcuffed to the JV, so that we would receive the $20 mill loan - and with that deal CRH must have had requirements that we could not meet. Most likely the JV was trying to commit large builders to large orders, and the builders were unwilling to commit.
We have been told repeatedly that there were many builders interested - however we never made the hx available to them. So how can anybody say WaaS doesn't work when it has never been tried?
IF WHAT THEY SAID ABOUT BUILDERS INTERESTED IS TRUE, we could have started WaaS on our own in Feb - it is self funding and would have made it easier for FBR to survive. Instead we are starving to death and with no idea of when is the next meal.
