Dex, I'm not one for correcting you but I sense your title to this thread is limiting. It shouldn't be "Field of Dreams" it should "World of Dreams".

Granted this particular adventure has started in a field in Queensland, but this story will be played out across the world made up of single fields. And to a great extent that is exactly the issue. Not only is UCG environmentally sounder than the majority of coal alternatives, it is less costly, it occupies significantly less space and uses significantly less resources, requires no transport to take coal to the power stations but it also utilises significantly more of the energy potential froma given quantity of coal at depths where the coal is basically useless if it wasn't for UCG projects.

So on this occasion any chance you could rename to "World of Dreams"?

Someone made the point that generating electricity was not the highest value added choice for UCG. Maybe not, but it is the least risk start, offers significant profitability in its own right, and is one of lifes basics. In short, a fantastic place to start a great company.
