As space is inversely proportional to time, then the whole Earth Age thing is obviously relative to which position within this expanding space/time continuum (or other dimension) you are observing (and measuring) from.
Perhaps Senator Fielding understands this and also understands that it is an IMPOSSIBLE task to try and get this perspective into the noodles of plebs.
