Yep and Tony Abbot positively and with the utmost gravity said Work Choices is dead. I believe him!
SMH, 2 DECEMBER 2009
quote
"ABBOTT: "Well, the phrase Work Choices is dead. No-one will ever mention it again, but look, we have to have a free and flexible economy."
unquote
it is obvious to anybody who has followed Abbot when the Liberals were in power that he LOVED Work Choices,as soon as he gets into power it will be all dressed up in another name.
This is not to say he is any worse than Gillard,as you point out, she says what is necessary ,not necessarily what is true.
It is the nature of politics, which reflects human nature, maybe that is why politicians are despised so much , they remind us of what we do not acknowledge in ourselves.
One things for sure ,uncertainty does not help the share market, bring on the election!
