Firstly, check your maths... It's ~$5k worth of shares, not $500 worth. Secondly, even if it were just $500, that's a pretty rude attitude to take towards someone. Just because their holding is small, you think they're a company shill? Maybe they just have a small portfolio and that's the position size they could afford.
