Yeah - but that didn't happen in the last two weeks - doesn't really explain why the SP has collapsed about 60C from $1.70 in a matter of days....and that's on top of a collapse from $3.00 in March .....this is now about sentiment and every shorter in town thinking it's all going to get significantly worse.
The whole sector got slammed today ...did anything change overnight to kick almost 10% out of the SP of ASL / NWH / BLY & others
Seems everyone woke up and said - hey - lets short mining services today for a bit more fun ??
Its driving me nuts - even if you take the pessimistic view that full year divs will halve from 14c to 7c (despite the fact they reaffirmed 6.5c for 2H in their last update) then its still a 6-7% yield...so at some point soon it's gotta stop falling and people will be back
This SP is half what the brokers were seeing only 6 weeks ago - how could they be sooooooo wrong ???
