Refering to page 4 of ASX announcement: 26/08/2008 Open Briefing - CEO on FY08 Results and Outlook; QUOTE:
“corporatefile.com.au: What implications does the settlement have for future sales and royalty streams from Relenza?
CEO Peter Cook : Our royalties are linked to sales of Relenza by GSK and THE SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT HAS NO DIRECT IMPACT ON EITHER SALES OR ROYALTY RATES”. End of Quote

    Compare this to: Quote:
“Our relationship has returned to a more normal basis now that GSK has made a commercial commitment to the influenza sector,'' Dr Cook said.
That commitment is translating into growing sales as governments move towards flu medicine stockpiles that strike a better balance between Tamiflu and Relenza”. End of Quote.

Peter Cook, you are plainly an IDIOT. In August 08, you stated the settlement has no impact on sales. Now that relenza sales has gone up due to the swine flu, the H1N1 resistance and the hallucination effects of Tamiflu, you are trying to claim credit for the increased demand.

You are one shameless idiot. You claimed credit for how good your idiotic settlement was thinking we will never learn of the $100m offer you turned down. You are so morally corrupt that you blamed Peter Molloy for the 2008 FY loss when it is a fact that if you accepted the $100m settlement it would be a net $80m profit to BTA. Despite shareholders voting down the LTIO resolution, you collected the 456,300 options and announced it to the ASX (refer ASX announcement on 19 Dec 08) thinking shareholders were too busy celebrating the Xmas to notice your greed.

Relenza is BTA’s most important revenue and despite GSK publishing the results on the internet, the idiot Peter Cook reported the wrong royalties figures to the ASX. Weeks later when the idiot corrected the error, he blamed GSK. GSK did not revise the sales figures on their website, did they? (Refer ASX announcements on 6 Feb & 13 Feb 09)

Yes, Peter Cook, shareholders are upset that you are such an idiot. If you have a moral fibre in your soul, resign now.
