Hi,

Figs take really easy from cuttings - at almost any time of year I believe, so you can grow heaps easily.

Don't know about all but 3 years should give you fruit on some.

Most people eat figs early.

Try at least once leaving a fruit or 2 on the tree until it really really softens - literally almost falls apart in your hand.

See if you like the taste - the sugars almost caramelise - you will have to eat it more or less on the spot - to some it is an orgasmic experience.
