Oh great thanks Justis. We have a few fig trees and I remember once breaking it in half and seeing little white grubs like fruit fly maggots or whatever they are. You have to stare at it for awhile cause they look like the white part of the fig, then see if it moves. Yuk. We have a prickly pear tree and once they got in that as well. So always cautious. Look before your bite I say.
