Kat, you realise I am saying all figs have fig wasp eggs and or larve? Yeah seems yuck but if you can't see grubs moving it's easier to think they are not there.
I expect it was some thing difrent in the prickly pear.
Love Prickly pear, so under ratted and I don't think have ever seen them in shops. Recall buying them pre peeled in spain
