Martis, I am neither bullish nor bearish. Last friday, you made reference to bond rates and how they will move up, precipitating the collapse in equity. I responded with my reasons as to why that isn't going to happen any time soon. (btw you haven't responded to that). Today you have called the market down to 1000 and again I reasoned that this was unlikely, since bond rates aren't going up for a long time, and at 1000 xjo, the yield diffs on equity/bonds would be so large that it is an impractical proposition that you make.
So far you have told me and others (for 15 long years!!) to watch out below and go long since I appear to be bullish.
As I said earlier, I am neither bullish or bearish. In fact I suspect the index will stay in a range 4900-5300 for some time to come. But thats a far cry from calling a 75% drop in equity prices from here as you appear to be calling. And I'm certainly not calling 6800 any time soon!!
