    Fiji Kava signs national agreement with Australian therapeutics giant Blackmores ownedsubsidiaryBioCeuticals Limited.

    Fiji Kava Ltd(ASX: FIJ), an Australian-Fijian medicinal kava health and wellness company has secured a major non-exclusive licence agreement connected with the supply of high quality noble kava extract with leading practitioner only provider of nutritional and therapeutic supplements, BioCeuticals.

    BioCeuticals is renowned for manufacturing and delivering high quality integrative medicines to healthcare practitioners in Australia, New Zealand and the United States. It’s leading product AnxioCalm is a unique blend of herbs to support symptomatic relief of mild anxiety, tension and stress, formulated to calm and support the nervous system and to minimise the systematic effects of stress.

    Fiji expands its product line into Coles (ASX: COL)

    Fiji Kava first entered into an agreement with Coles in February 2020 and in June announcedit had launched its range of 'noble kava' capsules with Coles.

    These new capsules, which are labelled Sleep, Calm, and Body, are uniquely created to provide a safe alternative to prescription medicines. Coles will be the first global retailer to supply these products and they will be available both in-store and online.

    Amazon, China and beyond

    Fiji Kava has continued its plans for global expansion and distribution with agreements already underway including a signed a Memorandum of Understanding withGreen Cross Healthto market and sell its products across New Zealand andrecently began its plans to infiltrate China's monster AUD $31 billion vitamins and supplements market

    Late last year Fiji Kava launched its offering onAmazonand in July 2020 partnered with Pacific Horticultural and Agricultural Market Access (PHAMA) Plus Program to strengthen kava export opportunities.Fiji Kava's subsidiary, South Pacific Elixirs, will work with PHAMA Plus to ensure the high-quality, sustainable commercial production and distribution of Fijian kava to global export markets.

    Kava- a safer, natural alternative to prescription medicines, anxiety, insomnia and pain relief.

    The global alternative medicine market is expected to reach a roughly $310 billion valuation by 2026. The company is looking to break into this market with its choice of kava strain known as "Noble".

    "There is a major resurgence of global demand for kava, with unprecedented interest shown in our Noble kava extracted products in capsule and powdered forms," Fiji Kava Founder and Managing Director Zane Yoshida said.

    Used in the South Pacific for over 3,000 years in traditional kava ceremonies, kava has historically been known for its soothing, calming and therapeutic benefits. The active ingredient being the kavalactones, which are compounds found in the root of the plant.

    In modern world, the medicinal benefits of kava are becoming widely recognised as a natural solution to support muscle relaxation, assist in mind relaxation and calm and soothe nerves.

    As well as being FDA compliant and listed as a complementary medicine in Australia, kava is also sold as a dietary supplement in most other international markets.
