    I spoke with fijikava today, a friendly chap named Brian.
    I asked him why has the instant kava mix price gone up over 60% and he answered :

    "Over the past 12 months, due to market demand, the raw kava price has risen over 60%. While to date we have taken this increase without raising our prices, to maintain the high quality and sourcing practises we set ourselves, we have to had to adjust our pricing.

    However, until the End of June, fijikava are still running a very special discount for existing members ONLY who have ordered kava in the past who can still buy kava for the old prices."

    I am glad I investigated this because i saved myself $80, and will probably order more before the end of june, so I got a $280 kilo bag of instant kava for $190.

    So after placing my order it got me thinking, and i asked him
    "I must indulge here though to ask do you run checks on people using this code to confirm that they are infact existing customers ?"

    So all in all, discounts/promotions are done. except for t-shirts and the mango/peach flavours
    The company has increased its prices which tells me they are happy with what they have established and are now prepared to make more revenue from new clients.
    I support this, they cant run discounts forever. Time to make some money.
