Mining company Brockman Resources yesterday announced a 74 percent increase in the indicated mineral resources for its Marillana project in Western Australia. The company now believes the iron-ore project is capable of producing 605 million tonnes, up from a previous projection of 347 million tonnes. Brockman managing director Wayne Richards said the company is likely to require a partner to help fund the A$500 million development, and will consider overseas investors. Page 18.
