Not sure why anyone would want Paul Espie off the board. It could be argued that Paul saved the company as it would have been Paul's decision that resulted in Pacific Road becoming a major shareholder by lending Auralia cash when they were in desperate straits. Paul could see the potential for Hera. The low cost operation then performed well.
The Hera and Peak operations each have a general manager so no disruption.
It will be Jim who in a few months time. It is not the place of the M D to be changing the board. M D's often get an inflated opinion of themselves and have to be moved on. Think Rod Carnegie at CRA who wanted to be a major player in the German Steel industry. Also Marius K from BHP who wanted to control the world.
