CFU dined out for a long time on saying that the units would cost about $8K - I certainly hope that that turns out to be true by launch time (taking into account whatever deals they will have done with the state and fed governments by then). If its not the case then I think they have been misleading people and have some explaining to do. They have been slip sliding on this recently - not impressed. If the figure was "$8K once we are producing and shipping 1,000,000 unit per month" then they should have said so in their presentations.
