Thats right bullmarket, apart from people on this website i have yet to talk to anyone who supports the deal. in fact most people are extremely angry ,the vote will be close, as indicated by the calling by cuo to gage shareholder support. if the merger is completed i can imagine further dilution of shareholder value through placements for high risk new mine developments. cuo management have shown they wont look after their long term supporters by the terms of the last placemnt at 54c, i dont see how they could have upset shareholders any more than they have recently.
i know mxx holders are against this deal as well, but it is important to understand cash flow is key to sucess these days as ability to source credit is drying up,cuo have an awsome producing mine and should concentrate on generating shareholder value through developing this further.
