Can't believe so many people believe shallow lines from business journalists but given the lightweight posts from HC posters on CNP thread over the last few days there appears to be very few people prepared to do the hard yards of really examining the Annual Report & understanding how CNP operated i.e. interest coverage, real level of gearing, & real value of tangible assets. Excel spreadsheets can give more answers & different scenarios regarding assets than hours reading dribble. Very few posters have any idea of the different range of NTA for CNP. Most I have seen posted were taken straight from the Balance Sheet with no adjustments i.e. value of service business most likely inflated & no write down of current assets in current situation. Another big mistake CNP only manages $26B of assets, they are not CNP assets. Regards Buffett Will ignore HC thread on CNP today as 99% of the posts will come from posters who have no idea on investing or reading a Annual Report.
