THE contest for the $6 billion-plus Queensland Motorways will reach a climax this week, with final bids for the prized infrastructure asset submitted today and the favoured candidate announced as soon as tomorrow.
Representatives from the state-owned vendor Queensland Investment Corporation arrive in Sydney today to assess the offers for the infrastructure together with a team of lawyers and its investment banking advisers, Macquarie Group and UBS.
