Retail Food Group don't want the BR franchise .... too many disputes with Franchisees, unprofitability and poor store locations. About a year ago one of the RFG partners said they are waiting for ABQ to fall over, although even back then he said it's taking longer than they expected.
The bottom line is that they don't expect the BR brand to be in Australia much longer.
The US don't make enough out of it to be worthwhile and if ABQ are out of the picture then Dunkin's will be the ones facing legal action from the Franchisees.

I have spoken to a couple of Franchisees today and a group of them already have a plan in place if the BR brand does exit Australia. Actually they will be very happy to see the back of BR.
