It is most definitely not unusual around the world. There is a lot written about the relative merits of having directors who hold shares and those that don’t and it is an interesting debate.
I have decided personally that both arguments have merit and that how you decide will be not the strength of either argument but your own personality type. Do you try harder for yourself or do you try harder for others?
