I suspect they may make some of that up with new markets/products, fulfilling the backlog and increasing software/azure recurring spend
I also wouldn't suggest that IT spend will drop. It's been years since IT spend dropped (pre-cloud) as a whole. Hardware spend may drop slightly, but I'm still seeing a lot of demand in software, networking and security.
DTL seem to be a great measure of IT spend, although they are very Brisbane centric.
Synnex/Ingram on the other hand are a better measure of retail spend on tech (laptops/tablets/accessories from JB/Harvey Norman, etc) DDR do not play heavily in that space.
