Agree -------- the debate method with such time limits is not easy though --
IMO - a hopeful Presidential candidate could make what Biden believes about renewables and Oil into a massive winning card for an oil state - it just takes the right words and a few ideas
Texans - especially those with money, aren't dumb - far from it - and, it would get through to them that it's not 1950 and, that we are already in transition to an oil free using world - and, that they need to be a big part of it
either way - it probably wasn't a campaign losing blip for Joe Biden - and, one he could easily repair if they felt it needed in 10 days or so - they have the money - way enough money to put out a really good story to explain what he meant - and, how dumb Trump looks going forward with the car in reverse heading backwards to 1950
