I loved the comment "If recovery of the metal values had been simple and cost effective , the project would have been developed some time back", I guess a polite way of saying "back off man, this stuff aint easy, like to see you do a better job".

No further mention of developing an inhouse laboratory (which, once julia creek gets up, would not really be needed any longer...). Oh well, here's to hoping Julia Creek gets tangibly closer in 2009.

Looks like plenty of cash still ($4.7m) and RWD and other shares (and slow burn rate of $1m a year), so we can afford to develop Menzies (get that revenue stream going) and not have to tap the market.

So the leftovers of the White Range heap leach work is going to be sold to roadbuilders- bit hard to believe dirt is in short supply in NT.
