final push by shorters before news perhaps?

Think about it ... the shorters MUST be "close to the company" or at least well aware of company news flow or expected news flow. Maybe this is a last push down by the shorters ahead of news? The pipeline announcement by the Planning Minister later today "should" be a positive catalyst (the ABC item said he was to announce the preferred route) so the shorters are getting in while they can. Speculating of course.

Other falls in the last 12-18 months to these levels have been followed by a spike upwards (on short covering perhaps)?

Very testing ... but I did buy a few more at 68.5.
