The eating up of the sellers and then the bounce upwards was mostly BEFORE the announcement, the ann just put a bit more robustness into the upwards move that was already mostly done.
This manipulation came out of left field, didn't see it coming and by Gog I didn't want to sell or even short-hedge once it got so low. I'm glad I wasn't psyched out and just held on.
