Just had a bit more of a look at the shareholdings and here are some interesting numbers worth noting:

Andrew Mortimer is the biggest shareholder/supporter and owns the following in GNI (per latest director's interest notice):
12,413,319 - Fully Paid Shares (GNI)
8,385,408 - Party Paid Shares (GNICA)
8,000,000 - Options (GNIOA)

Proto Resources & Inv. (PRW), which has had a nice little run from 2c to 7c in the last couple of months, is the second biggest shareholder/supporter and owns the following in GNI (per last GNI Annual report):
10,723,501 - Fully Paid Shares (GNI)
6,467,626 - Party Paid Shares (GNICA)
9,310,960 - Options (GNIOA)

Also good to see other names on the GNI register like UBS, ABN AMRO, Merrill Lynch and of course NGF who is an ASX listed gold producer.

Also good to know that GNI holds 20,000,000 shares (and is the biggest shareholder) in MUI (who recently acquired an interest in three bauxite exploration licences in NSW). Andrew Mortimer also holds 4,000,000 in MUI (per last MUI Annual report).
