You mentioned that these traits are the same over any overseas investment. Totally disagree. Extremely low Sovereign risk in Canada. In fact they are proactive looking at a JV with ore loading rail infrastructure to the tune of 30% CAPEX with one play I have.
Brazil. Could say second world government but have a huge understanding of mining implemation and corporate law with a good mining portfolio and transperant. I have a copper play and looking at a 3rd stage.
Solomon Island. 3rd world and know jack shyte in corporate governance to commissioning a national mining industry and are as transparent as MUD. What mining portfolios the SIG did have has been squandered. But better late than never.
