I think that whilst I find humans a deeply flawed creature. They are special.
IMO, to have a life of nil bar eating drinking and shagging is just a waste. A pointless hedonistic waste of resources.
If we are to spend a time living and consuming, surely it's worth doing something with it - whether it's inventing things, building things, observing things, or just plain thinking about what is around, how it works, perhaps why etc etc.
if one thinks that drinking eating and shagging is a worthwhile pursuit - then, perhaps come as a rabbit or similar. At least one consumes less of the planet.
But, in the end, I think it may matter not - my guess is we will come and go, like the rest of life and nil will be left - which kinda brings to mind - what was the point of that
