It's getting hotter. ...... yep.... well admitted wowog. but the rate of heating is beyond anything previously experienced by mammals. instead of taking a thousand years to change 1.5deg, our practice of digging up millions of years of carbo, in the form of fossil fuels, and releasing it into the atmosphere over 200 yrs and an exponentially increasing rate, we have caused the global average atmospheric temperature to increase over 50 years,.

this is too fast a rate for mammals to 'adapt'.

Venice is an interest example: it's at the top of a backwater of the Mediterranean where tidal flows are greater, and is built on an estuary wetland. its therefore caught between incoming tides and riverine outflows. its therefore one of the places that experience increasing oceanic water inundation ahead of the rotw.

but hey wowog, don't believe me. take a holiday to Venice and take your camera to post some pics of the 15cm inundation to HC.
