Boart Longyear did a capital raising tripling the amount of shares on offer before the consolidation.
Original amount of shares - approximately 1.5 billion Capital raising - new amount of shares approx 4.5 billion 10 for 1 consolidation - current amount of shares approximately 450 million
rough estimation here but $1.85 a share before the capital raising equated to about 62c after it as there was then triple the amount of shares on offer.
Then we did the 10 for 1 consolidation which means that for that share to be equal to the original 1.85, the new share value of 62c approx would have to be worth $6-$6.20 (62c x 10) as we now have 1 tenth of the amount of shares that we had before the consolidation.
Happy for anyone to explain things better than that.
Cheers all and in case I don't post on here before Chrissy - Have a great festive season HO HO HO
