After almost 20 years working in investment markets, my gut would tell me that Gerry McGowan has spoken with the fund that held a top 10 position, and suggested that he facilitate an orderly transfer of their position.
This will cease the bleeding (for now) and ensure the SP isnt continually cut down.
The problem now is that Gerry needs to find another substantial holder to take on the HHL position...which I think he will struggle to do.
I think taking a position at present is very very high risk and I eagerly await the outcome here. The business simply has failed to deliver.
I was first introduced to CBD via a major fundie who had also been sold the massive potential with CBD. I know there are a lot of unhappy top 20 stuck on the register.
GM really needs to pull a rabbit from his hat...quickly.
