Mate to begin with you told us $700 gold was a done deal @ $920 so why in hell would we listen to you now @ $1090 just because we have suffered a normal pullback?

As for your assumption that the USD shall continue to be the safe haven that so many unthinking zombies have thought it to be in the past.....all I can say is that there are those that see things as they really are and there are those that are destined to repeat the mistakes of previous generations.

Oh and in regard to Japan, I tell you what I have been told you before. Take a very good look at what would have happened if a Japanese investor had placed their Yen into gold at the begining after the collapse of their stock market!
