BluSolar has demonstrated working PV cells. While these early prototype structures have been at relatively low efficiencies due to their low Indium content, the research continues to modify and improve these cell structures which are grown using existing commercial MOCVD platforms to perfect the design and know how. This will in the longer term be translated to utilise the benefits of the lower temperature RPCVD technology to increase the Indium content (the core efficiency component) and the performance potential of the cells.
=== what this means to me is that they can' use their technology to even pursue the solar opportunities. If the current RPCVD doesn't get going soon there will be nothing of anything.
