Anne Merrild Hansen believes, however, that the reason is that the company does not want to participate, because the mining project will not turn into anything preliminary. The coalition between Inuit Ataqatigiit and Naleraq has promised to stop the project if they win the election in April.

- It can be said that there is no interest in Greenland Minerals to participate in these citizen meetings, because at present they have no prospect of influencing either the people's attitude or the political stance.
