Hi Pinnell and Pussin boots, I have been involved in Waterberg coal projects since about 2008, I ahvent held RES shares although came very close about 4 years ago.
in 2008 /9 I would say FSE/ Sekoko were ahead of RES in terms of physical work done on the ground, subsequent events have led RES to be top of the game, no doubt.
There are other projects in the area, many stalled due to funding and market issues, some are quietly proceeding on different approaches.

I have learnt with this coalfield, (and Botswana just over the river) that the Grootegeluk approach (mega- mine producing multi million tons per annum) is not the only way to fry the egg.
