Power Connection Update:
Awoonga
Thanks for the post. No real surprises there. It seems that one of the most experienced teams in the business remembered about electricity after all.
But I'd be interested in your commentary on this information. We're you surprised? Relieved? Did you feel a bit foolish? (I am sure Scott would have gone out of his way to avoid making you feel that way.). Will you sleep better tonight knowing that there will be electricity at the mine?
I am not asking these questions to be provocative. Truly. I am asking because you have said you have other concerns that you wish to pursue in due course. You mentioned water I think. You might also have questions about the equipment being purchased, the design of the tailings dam, the surface of the access road, the angle of the proposed pit wall (looks a little steep to me, what do you think?), or any one of about five hundred issues that might occur to you.
And because you post on HC up to twenty times a day, your concerns tend to become our concerns (unless we give up reading HC entirely, which is also an option.). Moreover you now have Scott's phone number. So your fears, concerns and pre-occupations might rapidly become his worst nightmares. Having a management team that is responsive to legitimate concerns is one thing. But being driven crazy because some shareholders have an amateur enthusiasm for mining and too much time on their hands is quite another.
i hope I am making my point without being too unfair. You are a force of nature Awoonga, no doubt about it! The only question is how to harness that force in a good and constructive fashion before it drives us all mad.

ps you mention that the directors seem to have heard of Kalenn. Again, I don't know what to make of that observation. Were you checking up on him? Really?
Did you also by any chance drop your (nic)name into the conversation? I wonder how Scott would have responded to that?
